The 152nd Field Artillery Association

Comments:
I'm writing my Dad's history in WWII & Korea (Raymond Bechard). He was on the headquarters staff of the 203rd Field Artillery Battalion. I'm searching for photos taken at headquarters that might have my Dad in them. During the occupation he was Town Major for Friedburg, near Frankfurt, and I have some photos of that period, but would like to find more. Also, the daily operations journal posted on the 203rd website was copied incorrectly. It is missing most of August 1944. From p. 15 (July 5) it jumps to 2 pages for August then resumes with July. Does anyone know of a full copy or how to get one?

Admin reply: I'm still trying to figure out where the missing files are, but in the meantime I've uploaded copies of the 203d FA battalion's monthly After Action Reviews from 1944-1945; hopefully that helps fill the gap from the mission operations journal pages. Thanks for letting us know!

My father was Raymond Starostka, who passed away in 1999. I've been searching for some military history concerning him and was most disappointed to learn that so many records were lost by the Army in a fire. He didn't talk about his service very much and I am extremely curious. I found his name on page 238.
